Herrfurthpl. 14, 12049 Berlin
Selig.Berlin is a breakfast/lunch spot in Neukölln. The location could not be better, just in the middle of Herrfurthplatz, super close to Tempelhof.
The design is warm, the place is very bright and they even have an indoor infarm.
They offer breakfast, cakes, and every week they offer a new lunch menu.
We ordered Eggs Benedict and Croque Madame. The Eggs consist on 2 poached organic eggs on sourdough bread and homemade hollandaise sauce with one of the following toppings: Ham and bacon, mushrooms, salmon, tomato and spinach or BBQ bolognese and bacon. In my case, I added salmon and the result was awesome. The eggs had a runny yolk with a hardening crust, what I call perfect poached egg.
Croque Madame consists on sourdough bread, rosemary ham, béchamel, cheese and a fried organic egg. Super yummy!
The sourdough bread they use at Selig.Berlin is from Domberger Brot-Werk, a backery in Berlin Moabit.
In conclusion, delicious organic food and nice atmosphere.
