Mucha Muchacha in a Mexican restaurant in the heart of Neukölln.
From Tuesday to Friday, it is open from 16:30 hours, and on the weekends, you can enjoy breakfast from 11:00 hours.
I went on the weekend as there were just a few people at the restaurant, they let us order something from the breakfast menu and something from the dinner menu.
To drink, we had Mexican craft beer called Guzmán González. I really like craft beer and this one was super tasty. You can also have cocktails and mezcals.
What I liked the most were Chilaquiles (on the breakfast menu). Chilaquiles is a dish consisting of corn tortillas cut in quarters and lightly fried. Red salsa is poured over the crisp tortilla triangles. It is served with beans and and a fried egg. It was spicy but you can totally eat it, delicious!
From the regular menu, we had Quesadillas and Tacos.
Quesadillas were filled with cheese and mushrooms. They are served with a small salad on the side. Sooooo good.
Tacos were Tacos de cochinita Pibil. Pulled pork marinated and braised in Xnipec sauce (onion and orange juice), lime, avocado and beans. There were tasty, but I think they had way to much meat and no sauce or flavor like other tacos that I’ve tried. Everything was falling while I was eating them. Maybe next time they make it smaller 🙂
