Little Long

Wiener Straße 60, 10999 Berlin

Little Long is a modern Japanese Cuisine restaurant in Kreuzberg.

It caught my attention due to the bright colors inside. I saw neon lights, a great decoration, and this huge sushi tray that made me love the place before even going inside.

When we finally decided to go on a Friday night, it was raining. They have a huge terrace with benches perfect for a summer evening, but in our case, we had to sit inside. We booked a table in advance (I always do if I know already where I wanna eat) but the place is pretty big to go without reservation, perfect for lunch/dinner with friends.

The menu is not small at all. You can order entrees, main dishes, fresh ramen, grill and sushi.

In our case, we went for main dishes. I follow the Little Long account on Instagram and I remember seeing a photo that made we think “I want that”. Yes, Udon Carbonara. Delicious Japanese Udon Noodles with a taste of Italian pasta. I am a huge fan of Italian and Japanese food so I had to try that awesome combination. Udon Carbonara is made of udon noodles, egg, mushrooms and pakchoi. Simply great.

On the picture above you can see also “What the Duck”, other main dish. Grilled duck, homemade miso sauce and Japanese rice. Meat was perfectly cooked so if you are not vegan or vegetarian, go for it!

I promise to come back to try the sushi, the ramen and the Yakiniku Konro Grill.
