Hackbert Burger

Richardstraße 108, 12043 Berlin

Hackbert Burger was my last meal before quarantine. I was with some friends at Tempelhof when we read on the news that everything was closing that weekend due to Coronavirus. The bars, the clubs, the restaurants…  We thought that it was something that would pass by in a short time and as we were craving for burgers, we went to this small burger place in Neukölln.

No doubts. Cheeseburger and Süßkartoffelpommes. Normally this combination never goes wrong 🙂 And it didn’t.

Rocket, iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion, 150g mince beef patty, homemade mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickels and cheddar cheese. YES I do love cheddar cheese on burgers.

Meat was succulent. Wanna know why? Because they buy the meat daily at „Blutwurstmanufaktur” in Karl-Marx-Platz from regional manufacturers. At Hackbert they grind the meat themselves every day so the quality is fantastic.

Sweet potato fries were also delicious. Thin, crispy and with lot of flavor.

Hackbert Burger is totally worth the visit. Don’t except a fancy place with many tables because as far as I remember, they had 2 or 3 tables, and other 2 seats outside. Perfect place for a burger quick stop. You won’t regret it.
