Has Gazzo the best pizza in Berlin? ABSOLUTELY YES.

Gazzo is a sourdough craft-pizza restaurant in Neukölln and since they opened in 2018, it is one of my favorite spots in Berlin.

They believe in sourcing artisanal produce – local when available, but always delicious, sustainable and natural.

They offer seasonal pizzas with seasonal ingredients. For example in autumn, they served an amazing pumpkin pizza with Hokaido pumpkin, guanciale (cured pork cheek), garlic, organic mozarella from Brandenburg, buffalo ricotta from Brandenburg, fresh sage and a drizzle of honey. NO WORDS

They take only reservations for 6 or more people. But don’t worry, if you go with a friend to Gazzo and there is queue, the staff will note your name and your phone down and they will send you a message when your table is ready.

If you eat and have space for dessert, try the soft-serve icecream. A freshly churned buffalo-milk from Brandenburg, served either with cinnamon-braised local apples and short bread from Katie’s Blue Cat or with olive oil, sea-salt and short bread.

Perfect, everything is simply perfect.
