Augustiner am Gendarmenmarkt

Charlottenstraße 56, 10117 Berlin

A piece of Bavaria in the heart of Berlin!

Augustiner is placed in the middle of the historical heart on the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt and it is the first Augustinian representative office in the German capital.

In the restaurant you can find five different types of beer, some of them from the original wooden barrel, freshly tapped.

A special menu is also served with this carefully brewed beer. In the restaurant you can order various hearty snacks, dishes with sausages, Bavarian classics and hearty home-made delicacies. You can also find salads, soups and typical desserts.

In summer, a large outdoor terrace invites you to take a seat and enjoy your beer at the lively historic Gendarmenmarkt.

I totally recommend this place when parents or friends are visiting and want to try German food.
